NAS brunswick is located approximetely 30 miles northeast of Portland,ME. VP-11 was disestablished on
January 15, 1997 During my years there we patrolled the North Atlantic Ocean conducting antisubmarine
operations and maritime surveillance. I deployed to Iceland, Puerto Rico, and Sicily during my years there.
My son was also born while I was stationed there.
